Hutong School Summer Wrap Up

We hope you are enjoying Beijing’s summer so far! Let’s review what happened in June and what’s coming up next in July at Hutong School:

Immersion into Chinese culture

June was packed with cultural activities where students had the chance for instance to learn how to do Tai Chi, enjoy Beijing Opera and take part in a Chinese tea ceremony. They also hiked from Xiangtun to Shuiquangou, one of the Great Wall’s wildest and most beautifil sections!

New activities coming up in July

This month, there are lots of new activities, such as seal caving, visiting a new section of the Great Wall, learning more about the Chinese language and going to a Kung Fu show. Please check out our calendar for more details & events!

Let’s celebrate!

During last month’s Welcome Party, we were very happy to welcome 28 new students. July’s Welcome Party will be even bigger as we welcome 37 new Hutong School students! The Hutong School staff wishes all these new students a great time in Beijing and all the best for their careers in China!

We need you!

We offer students the opportunity to learn a whole new set of skills while interning as our Marketing Assistants or Internship Consultant Assistants. Since January, 10 talented students have joined our Sales & Marketing team and there are still spots left for the second half of the year! If you are a Native Speaker of Spanish, Dutch, English, Korean or Japanese, and have always wanted to get insight into the latest Marketing practices or want to develop your HR skills, send your CV now to our Sales & Marketing Director!

More room for our Sanlitun Weekly Hutong School Nights!

Since January, we have been partnering with Beer Mania to welcome everyone for weekly casual get togethers. On July 16th 2011, we were happy to celebrate Beer Mania’s Grand Reopening! This means we now have more space to welcome more people at our Hutong Shcool Nights! So see you on Wednesdays!

Stay tuned for more updates (TwitterFacebook, Linkedin)!
